Apologies to those reading this post on the Samba as well, but I'm covering all my bases. I've got to bleed my clutch and brake system. I think I know the procedures for each, but I'm not sure in what order to do them- clutch first, then brakes, or the opposite? I've had a slow leak in the brake system which escalated and has caused my reservoir to get low enough for the clutch not to work. I'll be replacing the wheel cylinder, which I think is the source of the leak (though I haven't taken the wheel off yet) and I want to get the bleeding right. Although I don't have the Bentley manual in front of me, I think I can find it before I try to do the job tomorrow. Thanks, Ed |
