Neil,

I can't speak intelligently about the LED Driver, but on a quick look, it does not appear to be a true battery charger. Am certain some of the experts will chime in on this.

If you go with the Iota, I would certainly get the unit with the built in IQ4

You found a very good price for the DLS-30/IQ4 ($121 + shipping). When I purchased mine, the best reseller price and support came from John Drake. Their knowledge and that of Iota tech support gave me all I needed to feel comfortable installing the unit. .
