Well yeah, but a constant-current supply could modulate the voltage over a far wider range than that to provide the desired current. This is not an appropriate kind of power supply for a device that is designed to work with a certain voltage in mind. I guess I should have qualified my statement by saying that it wants a voltage in the range normally found in a vehicle.

But it looks like I was responding to an earlier post from Neil when he was looking to get something to power the reefer. So never mind.
