Alloy wheels against steel hubs! Now you've got me started. I've had so many alloy wheels stuck on vehicles that I have just purchased... Sometimes a swift kick will loosen them. Other times a "big friendly hammer" or loosening the lug nuts a few turns and driving around until it starts to clunk. When that didn't work recently on an Audi A4, my daughter and I together swung an 8 ft. 4X4 like a battering ram with great vigor. Big problem with alloys on Jeep Cherokees. Most tire shops now have enough sense to apply some type of goop to the inside of the wheel when installing, but not all.
