John, Hate to see it go.  At least you have another.  Good luck!   Stephen ________________________________ From: JRodgers <jrodgers113@GMAIL.COM> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Sent: Wednesday, August 7, 2013 11:22 AM Subject: Time The time has come the Walrus said, to speak of many things: Of shoes—and ships—and sealing-wax— Of cabbages—and kings -- and the selling of ones most personal vehicle - the Vanagon. As much as I hate it - I'm going to sell my beloved Ol' Red - my 1988 Vanagon GL w/manual tranny that I have had for 15 years. I've developed a leg problem and can't drive a manual tranny car anymore without difficulty. I'm forced to move into an automatic - which I happen to have - a '91 Carat. But it needs work before I can put it on the road. It's a project car and since I'm suddenly unde a crush to get it road worthy - I need to cash out Ol' Red so I can get the rebuild job wrapped up. The details are on Craigslist. I would appreciate any critique of the ad anyone might like to give. I plan to post to the SAMBA and Auto-Trader as well. http://bham.craigslist.org/cto/3986341804.html Thanks, John Rodgers Birmingham
