Subject: Led Brake lamps and audiovox cruise control
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Hi all, I installed Led brake lamps on my van I really like the way they light up the rear, folks can see that your Brake lights are indeed on even in the day time if they are awake. My only problem with them is that now my cruise control will not work, is this because the control unit is not seeing the ground on the brake lamps?  Is it not seeing the ground because they draw so little power? If I install a relay up in the front and wire it to the ground will this solve the problem?  This seems to be the summer of my Westy discontent I am all so do for a transmission rebuild and my audio project is not resolved . Looking forward to some camping in September on the coast of California and Oregon when all of this is repaired. Thanks for your input. Bill Witz 84 Westy Tiico
