And actually, years ago a parts guy at a Chevy dealer told me he can tack on whatever he feels like, and the dealer was Ok with that, as that was a part of his pay. Since he was about 28 years old and owned a 60K dollar power boat I didn't doubt him. He told me most dealers operated that way. A few months later I was buying a glow plug controller at a GMC dealer and the parts guy said "That'll be $128.00" I told him that was too much and that the last one I had bought was $95.00. He then cut the price to $110.00. Hmmmm, maybe that Chevy parts guy was telling the truth!
