For all who are lusting for a Syncro Westy:

My neighbor bought a 1990 Syncro Westy a while ago with the intent of putting a subaru diesel in .But plans change [The tax man cometh]

so he's thinking of selling.

Completely stock, almost completely immaculate, less than 70,000 miles, front locker, all tables and all the other stuff.

Fuel lines all changed out, I'm sure Scott could find stuff to lubricate but everything works well. No dents, no bondo. Really beautiful van.

Same color as mine, the very light godly silver [official VW name] minus the dirt and dings.

They got it at a good price and would sell it pretty reasonable. Not a bargain exactly but definitely a good deal. He didn't quote a price but if anyone's interested pmail me and I'll ask.

Mike in Northern CA
