I'm not sure if you damaged the engine- the extra oil was able burn and the rest to escape thru the exhaust and perhaps the crankcase breather. Could have blown a seal or two . Since it runs, it did'nt hydrolock and bend rods, but the catalytic converter could be damaged. Drain the oil and refill it with the normal amount and it should run OK , but smoke a while. Maybe run it for short intervals, till all the leaked oil is gone.
