If you're going to spend some hard earned money for a throttle body, you at least want a real long term solution if not an upgrade. There should be more than cheap epoxy and a shim. Here is an offering that makes sense. Bore out the worn mess, fit a new plate to fit and use sealed ball bearings. Add the fact that you have a known good switch properly adjusted and you have a plug and play solution. If your also paying someone for the install you really want something good. I think this is it.
