The '83 fridge is the older type with the L shaped burner cover. It has been the coldest Dometic I have ever owned and the '87 fridge has been giving me trouble, even after some upgrades and maintenance (thanks for the write-ups Frank).</DIV><DIV>The problem I have run into is that the electrical harness for the '87 has a 3 wire connector and a single wire connector.
