It probably won't be completely straight forward. I replaced mine with a socket from a FLAPS many years ago. I had to use a large washer around the front to mount it securely. Made it black (sort of ) with a marker. It is my understanding that the orig. sockets are rather loose because their size is not the same as what our 'merican plugs expect. Unless you are lucky or very diligent in your shopping, your replacement won't be illuminated like the original. Have fun trying to get the old one out.
