Make them tight. After a few heat and cool cycles tighten again. These bolts are easy to cut with a cut off wheel so not a big deal to use regular stuff. Loc tire is a good choice instead of antisieze.

I forgot to mention this is on an '88GL 2.1L engine.

I want to use stainless bolts with copper lock nuts at this connection but had to order them through a Nuts and Bolt specialty house. In the meantime - I'm putting in regular bolts and nuts - lock washer under the nut and spring washers under the head. The old bolts were standard with common nuts on them. They were badly corroded and rusted and I was surprised they didn't break when removed. The nuts actually turned.
