I sometimes fill from the inside using the hose, but that is no faster than from outside.

I have one of those "filler nozzles," mine bought from an RV supply store. I would like someone to show me or otherwise instruct me on how to fill the tank via the outside filler in a reasonable amount of time. For me, the water flows into the tank very slowly, backs up, and so on. The result is the same no matter how deeply I insert the tube of the nozzle into the opening. I have examined the hose and all fittings. I replaced the hose with new, same size. Takes forever. I can find no point at which there is any blockage. I bought a new filler from GoWesty when I got the van four years ago, because the old one was cracked.
