Hi listers,


        Is there a way to adjust the back tail gate closers to give them a bit more strength to hold up the back tail gate?  


The problem has happened as a result of my adding the sound proofing materials.  I did a great job covering the area and the sound is very nicely muffled. However my tailgate now slowly falls from the up position resulting in my inevitably walking right into it!  I like leaving it up at night with the screen for fresh air not to mention when working in the back of the van!


If not adjustable.  Can I get a tip on the best and strongest upgrade.
