I have a couple of seat questions for you more experienced folks.

First is that my seats are very difficult to turn.  I tried lubricant around the ring under the seat but no improvement.  How can I make them a bit easier to turn?

Related question. I'd like to access the area under the seats for soundproofing.  Is there a way to reasonably  remove the seat do the work then return the seat or is this not accessible in  that way?
