Eric,

do you mean the hole in the door jamb, rear vertical?

If so, then the westy does not have a louvred vent there as that side rear vents are not used (covered by trough). There are vents on the other side, over the sliding door. I think you can use a blanking plate, the same one that is on the front vertical jamb of driver's door.

Or you can use that space to stash things.
