Hi Eric,

I could never get the hose to screw into the connector on the van well enough to not leak. I eventually go the GoWesty hookups - they're so much better, as they use the quick disconnects: http://www.gowesty.com/ec_view_details.php?id=23580&category_id=&category_parent_id=

I ended up doing all 3 hookups, as mine were faded and cracked: http://www.gowesty.com/ec_view_details.php?id=23582&category_id=&category_parent_id=

The doors also stay up by themselves, so you're less likely to break them :o)

After setting everything up I tried both tank and city water. no leaks and all working well. That is until I noticed that the side of my van was wet. Seems that when the pump is running and no city water is hooked up I get a small constant flow out of the city water intake. > > I suspect a faulty check valve. > > Anyone else have this problem or did have it? Anyone have any possible tips to try before I end up taking it apart and putting in a new check valve. I really don't want to do that as it is great that nothing is leaking inside! But, I can't except this leaking down the outside of my van. > Also, I had a sighted friend with plumbing experience check my work and all parts are correct and the flow is in the correct direction indicated by the arrows on the check valve and directions. > > Eric Caron > 85 Westfalia GL Auto >
