Subject: Broken down travelers need help ASAP
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I have a couple from Colorado broken down in their 91 automatic all stock hardtop. Having their van towed to my house in Mystic,CT. Van died suddenly with no warning. Fuel pressure was fine but have no spark. Replaced coil with new Bosch one and installed a new rebuilt distributer. Still no spark out of coil. Have battery voltage on black wire side of coil. Need to test further and could use some advice. I am afraid its their ECU but don't have a spare and time is important as they need to be back on road ASAP. Does anyone have a spare ECU for a 2.1 that we could borrow or buy? I didn't realize that I gave my last one away. I am going to run down the ECU plug with my meter doing all the checks in the fuel injection repair manual. If there is anyway you can help with an ECU please let me know ASAP. I want to get these kind folks on the road.

Bill Mystic,CT
