Are you asking about the propane connection to back of fridge?

On 3 different fridges I've owned, (182A 182B), all 3 appeared to have the same size/thread LP connections at back of fridge.

A flange covers the male threaded end of pipe on fridge, securing it to the fridge. On one of my fridges, this part was mangled and loose so it didn't securely hold the pipe to the fridge body. In theory, this flange keeps the pipe on fridge from twisting while one turns the nut on pipe from tank. I usually put a wrench on each nut.

AFAIK, a flex hose at underside of van is not ok but the experts may disagree.

Neil.
