I had the sme issues with the Vanagon I bought off a used truck lot in
Little Rock.   The buzzer went off and the oil light went on and I got
him to knock off like $3000 of the price.  Turned out it was old oil,
and a cheap ass filter that didn't have the anti drainback valve in it.
I'd heed Dennis' words more than mine, as my situation may have been
totally different.
