This combination of posts perfectly exemplifies my point. Sourcing can vary from shipment to shipment of the identically labeled product, or even within the same shipment. We track defectives and look for patterns; if we see a pattern we look for another source. But it doesn't always go by brand. Sometimes the same factory will supply multiple brands, or the same brand will source from multiple factories. This month's bad Meyle might be next month's bad Lemforder, or next month they both might be better, or both might suck. Keeping on top of it is a constant battle that takes a lot of time and effort, and a dose of guesswork. - Ron Salmon The Bus Depot, Inc. www.busdepot.com (215) 234-VWVW _____________________________________________ Toll-Free for Orders by PART # : 1-866-BUS-DEPOT |
