Thanks Dennis. I fixed the symptom when I found a weak spring clamp at the coolant distribution tower. Now I can fix the cause. Every week or so the Vanagon would burp out a cup or two of coolant, no dripping otherwise. I'm guessing that the cap occasionally failed to open to the overflow tank. Thanks again for your reply.
