Subject: [T2] a BNNTA event update...
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed

Hi all,

Sounds like the oldest Buses coming so far are a couple of '58s who will be vying for the "oldest Bus at BNNTA" award. But you never know what will pull into the campground, we occassionally have had a few Barndoor Buses show up...

As for us, all three of my Buses that are going to the event are washed, mechanically checked out, tires aired, and mostly loaded up. I'm bringing a small but unusual VW surprize along to display at the event. As the event "hosts", we're pretty much ready to go. The weather forcast looks very nice for the long weekend, albeit pretty warm, so pack appropriately. I'll bring and set-up both outdoor cold showers for anyone who wants to refreshingly cool down... Be sure to stay hydrated by stocking lots of cold brews or whatever your pleasure is...

On Sunday evening at some point we will have a digital slide show available of the European VW adventures that four of us took about two months ago roaming around Germany and Belgium attending huge vintage VW events in a borrowed 1958 Deluxe 23-window Microbus... Awesome photos and video, and appropriately sassy commentary from both the participants and you. By any chance, does anyone out there have a flat (not "fitted") white large bed sheet they could bring along if we need it for use as a projector screen? We have a 4' x 4' portable screen, but it may not be big enough. If so throw it your VW just in case. No distracting "stains" for everyone to discuss please! Thanks!

Drive safely and we'll see you all very soon!

Bill & Kathryn

p.s. Could someone who is also on the "Vanagon List" please forward this to that List for me, I can't seem to post there... Thanks!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sure can! I'll even add the paragraph from an earlier message that talks about where it is (Missouri)
>>We hope that you can make plans to join us! For more info, go to our simple website: http://www.bnnta.com where you will also find a map link to help you locate the site of all the fun next weekend. We hope to see you very soon, enjoy the ride!<<
