Update for those whom care re the Argentine travelers. As of yesterday afternoon they were in Seward about 125 miles south of Anchorage and per my conversation with them I expect them to show up at our house sometime today. I have never replaced the water pump on a diesel yet but I am sure we will manage either on our own or with guidance from Mark Drillock and my local sources cultivated from 27 years working in the automobile industry in Anchorage.

Their arrival visit will fit right in as previously we took in Vanagon travelers Juan and Sara whom had left Las Vegas and made it to Alaska where we pulled them over on the side of the highway and brought them home with us. Last I heard they were in Florida building up their finances to make their way on the next leg of their travels to Juan's home town in Argentina. Must be something about Argentina and Vanagons that they go together so well.
