I take pictures of too many things but they have proven useful to me.

I've never given it much thought, but have wondered about the "how and why" of those pieces. I guess the idea is to seal up the holes with something that won't abrade, or react with, the copper lines.

I'll be doing a similar job soon when installing a new tank/reg on my '88 with new Truckfridge.
