First of all let me remind you that since you are using digest mode to receive your mail here, you must change the subject line content when responding, in order to keep the original thread "searchable" in the archives for future use by others later on.

You may have batteries in the main and house battery boxes, but that is not the topic of this discussion. The space UNDER the seat pedestals is open, but enclosed by the steel housing of the pedestal. That can be cut into and used discreetly for storage.
