We can't grow sugar cane they way they can in Brazil, but we sure can grow the corn. Nearly all corn today is a GMO corn - so lets keep it in the gas tank where it does just fine - but I do not want that same corn on my dinner plate. For that - give me non-GMO corn to power my body - let the GMO corn power the cars.
