There are quick disconnect propane fittings and hoses. I had one on a conversion van with an underchassis tank some time ago. I ran a two burner Coleman stove that I preferred to stow below the counters. The line was rubber of some sort and the fitting was similar to an air compressor hose. Maybe these are not available any longer due to liability, I don't know that...but I liked the one I used on extensive and extended Baja trips in that old Dodge...

But, I hated having to take the whole vehicle to a propane filling station to get gas....I now use a portable tank like on camp trailers that I keep under my sink....with holes vented through the floor to prevent possible explosive buildup inside the van..That way, I keep a full spare bottle around. I can take off camping without a trip to some propane store to get my built in tank filled...I just swap in the full tank and head out...re-fill at my convenience the spare tank.
