When I camp, I have a 12' by 10' tarp connecting the van to a 12' by
12' canopy. The bedroom is in the van, the kitchen is under the 12' by
10' tarp, and the jamming area/living room is under the canopy. It's
much easier for us to have separation of space by duties performed in
the space. This way, one of us can be sleeping in the van while
another is cooking up a late-night steak at 3 AM for a bunch of
musicians without busting up the jam . . . until the steak is served,
of course.
