Subject: '87 syncro + electrical problems: no power windows, wipers,

I was trying to make a "simple" repair yesterday to supply constant power to my radio. instead, something went terribly wrong. Thanks in advance for any advice. WHAT I DID * opened the top of the dash by removing the old ashtray, to have visibility to the top of the radio and locate power supply. * also lowered the glove box all the way to get access from passenger side, lower end of dashboard. * opened fuse box cover near driver's left knee to see which one powered radio * removed two screws holding fuse box in place to get a view of the backside to see if I could locate where the radio power line was connected to fuse box. * I couldn't find the corresponding radio power supply line on the back of the fuse box, so gave up and re-attached the fuse box. WHAT HAPPENED * after I did this, the following components no longer work: - headlights (though running lights, break lights, blinkers and hazards work) - both power windows will not go up or down (and are stuck down) - windshield wipers - front and rear heating fans - radio I assumed that something got disconnected in the course of my work, so I again removed the fuse box to see if something obvious had been disconnected. I could not see anything after exploring for at least 5 mins, with the help of a flashlight. the car starts and is otherwise drivable, as long as it's not dark and does not rain. Any advice? thanks
