I mounted two on the front bumper of my 84 Westy and drove across Nevada on Highway 6 down to past Rachel to Caliente. Long drive and open range land, the cattle were looking up and some of them would run away when before we even passed by. Maybe the plastic whistles were not the reason. Maybe they had never seen a Vanagon before. Maybe they did not like our California Plates. Knock on Wood; I have never hit a deer yet. I also installed Hella Fog lamps that will light up a dark edge along the road. So I hope that helps someone as the whistles are so inexpensive you don't have much to lose. Bill Witz 84 Westy Tiico with a bad differential which I hope to get back this week. |
