As the boyz in the yachit club used to say " If you need to ask about slip fees you can't afford the boat"

The syncronauts (syncronutz) have taken the vow to love, honor and obey a road diva in decline. She demands a lot and delivers if you whine.

Running gear from Steyr-Puch (not vw). Parts are now rare as frogs teeth, Expect to have to beg and plead and suffer indignities if you don't obey the warning signs.

If you buy a used vanagon, you must ask why the owner is selling his lover. You will put 50% of the purchase price in the lady to get her ready for your desires in the first year.

However Tim turned down 40K+ for a 240Kmi weekender (the rarest and most desireable of the divas) with suspension mods and such. His was a very nice ride.

To visit the real world of restored ready to rock and roll syncros look at the sold items on GoWesty's site. These are real sales. But they are ready to hammer on.

To envision your future imagine having to beg and grovel beneath the whip of an aging beauty in decline who has total disdain for your personal feelings or your pocketbook and who may or may not grant you excitement.

Beyond be dragons....

Expect to have a shop 'on retainer' who understands your lovely lady and maybe courts one like her. Expect to pay for your pleasures and expect to be treated like gold.

But for a cool 65K I'll sell you Bessie. All the mods. SVX, SA suspension, 5.42, Audi 5K brakes, Syncroshop driveline, Front and rear lockers, decoupler, SA wheels, grille, Project Zwo fogs, Go Westy bumpers and on and on. Full Westy, two Propane tanks, heat by Propex, Rack by VanagonRacks, Bicycle by Ritchey...hmm, now that I think about it. No Deal! I'll just keep begging and groveling and hoping she will smile on me one more time.

Life is short, do desert first. Put a little desert pin striping on your love, she'll like the punishment. That's why she sticks around.

Jimmy Buffet has one.

Right BoB?

Pensionerd.
