Bob

I have a SubyEJ25 in my 90Westy & love it & if I would have an old AirCooled I would consider doing an H2OCooled conversion but probably, realistically, unless that Van was in Great condition &or I had some sort of emotionalAttachment to it, I would just do what ever was necessary to keep it running while I kept my eyes out for an '87-'91. Get that Eng' fixed or replaced with a rebuild & do some Exhaust & maybe Intake Improvements to help it BreathBetter & see how you like it. You have already gained about 6.5%HP just by moving to SeaLevel from Vegas but of course it is most likely more humid in Fla so you may not actually get to realize all of that.
