I don't know how the USPS deals with small packages but here in Canada, good 'ol Canada Post will not let any envelope go as letter mail unless it fits through their "Letter Mail Slot" which for these headlight adjusters will not happen. They then go as package mail where size and weight determines the cost and it will be over $10 for sure to the closest place to me. So I would not be blaming all of these high postage charges on the vendors. As a newbie to the automated website business, the shipping modules given to us by the Postal service and Courier services do not always get it right. They get it close but never dead on ! Lately I find almost everyone of my packages have been charged more than the price the shipping module gave to the customer. So far I've been taking the loss but I will soon have to find a way to get that module to come up with a more accurate estimate of the shipping cost.
