I have a favorite large RV Park where I take a break for a bit and relax in outdoor swimming pools, outdoor hot tubs, spotless showers and rest rooms, free games room and internet room and tennis courts to name a few of the amenities. Yes it's big but the sun shines and it's 20 bucks a night in dry camp. One of the best values I have come across. It's south of Palm Springs and called Fountain of Youth Spa. I too prefer a more a more natural setting but in winter this spot is worth a visit. It's near the Salton Sea. It's a nice to spot to rest up before hitting the road again.
