If you are going to take the time to rebuild the front suspension, you might as well add grease fittings to the ball joints and tie rod ends. It's cheap, easy, and straight forward to do if you have the suspension apart. Since the replacement parts seem to have a shorter life than the originals an annual squirt of grease is something that won't hurt and might help in extending their life. Grease fittings can be installed on everything except the inner control arm bushings. Grease fittings can be installed without disassembling the suspension but it is much more difficult. Ed |
