Don, the difference here is V-gons aren't manufactured anywhere anymore.
New housing will always be available as fast as it can be stapled together.

Economics I guess, assuming the Vanagon enthusiasts don't die off before the
supply dries up.

Well I think there is a Vanagon Bubble!   Or maybe mainly a Westy Bubble!
 "Buy it and flip it!..." that sounds kinda familiar from about 5yrs
ago....  What is next....Vanagon Swap/derivatives?  Predatory Vanagon
mortgages? (I think we already are seeing THOSE)  Why not Short sales?
I'll take some of that $80K Go Westie action and bet they go negative.....
  Are we going to bail out Go Westie when they go belly up? are they Too
Big To Fail?  Sheesh!

  I really am amazed at what folks are asking right now for Westies...  It
seems there are some still out there being sold for fair prices, but fewer
each month as the speculators grab em...Kinda like all these Upside down
Victorians bought and restored some years back by the Real Estate flippers
in Hood River, Or...Lotta million dollar + 'investments' sitting on the
market at ~ $ 500, 000...unsold now for years..
