there are pluses and minues to both studs or bolts. What I like about studs is it's easy to get the nut off, especially with heat, if the nut is rusted or stuck on there., what I don't like about studs is you can't easily sneak in there and replace the exhaust port gasket. You can with bolts ...but sometimes the bolts get stuck in the head, and that gets a little nervous-feeling, gettting those out sometimes. stock-original is ...like from the factory .. each head has studs on one end, and takes bolts on the other end, I believe. fwiw.
