Hi listers,

I'm looking for a few things in advance of a major maintenance visit. If you know where I might get these parts I'd be grateful.

I've discovered that my 1.9 engine is missing a support that goes from the exhaust manifold to the Engine. I'm told probably broken or lost during a muffler change. it is a fairly short rod which attaches to a stud at each end. The studs look to be in different orientations I think a 90 degree turn. I can reach the location by finding the coil on the drivers side of the engine and reaching down along the motor.

The second part is the break parts needed to upgrade my original 1985 breaks to the 86 to 91 version. I'd love to have more breaking power as this seems to be the biggest concern of my drivers. yes, even more of a concern than the low power! It seems like even on a short trip my girlfriend three or 4 times will throw out her arm to keep me in my seat as she presses the breaks. Exactly how this small woman's arm is to save me I don't know but she seems to think it will help. I must admit not knowing exactly why she is doing this makes my heart skip a beat almost every time.

I'm under the impression these are parts I'll need to get from a parts van as they are not manufactured any longer.

I'm also looking for healthy replacement rubber boots for the Fuel injectors and Temperature sensor. I found them from Buss Depot but the price slowed me from getting them just yet.

Tips are appreciated.
