Subject: Ugh - Transmission whine in 3rd and 4th
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Like the title says, my 91 GL/2.2 Subaru/4-Speed just started to whine in 3rd and 4th. A quick search of the Samba tells me that I need to start saving my dimes, nickels, and $100's to get this fixed. Sadly the budget is super tight...

Like some folks here, I do my own work...but "a man's got to know his limitations" and transmission work looks to be more that I can handle...

Anyhoo, I just wanted to vent to a group of folks that would understand...

For those in the know, I'm assuming that continuing to drive with this issue will only make things worse....(yeah, I'm sure I know the answer but I had to ask)

Happy Monday!!

Jimmy Wilmington, NC
