In response to Miguel's request!!!

Many may remember Miguel's call for help for me back in April! I only had third and 4th gear. Linkage and Starter issues. This was on our drive back from Beaumont Texas, where The Rastafalia met with a terrible fate earlier this February! We were driving cross country, six of us on the team, heading to Conference in Charlotte, NC. Colin, Geoff, Kat, PJ, Sherry, and myself. We were driving on I-10 thru Beaumont, and there was terrible wind!!!! The Rastafalia was packed to the hilt, and we were hauling a small trailer too! The wind was making us shift about, and it was very frightening! I was praying that we would be kept safe, and turns out, so was half of our passengers! There were tornado warnings up ahead, I found out after!!! I opened my eyes, and saw that Colin was filming the road for our little movie we were making if our journey to conference! I decide to pray more, as the van really started swaying!!! when I open my eyes again, what do I see, but a silver car heading straight for us!!!! Geoff was driving, and he did everything right! He hit the brakes, and we hit it head on! We slid to the right, and landed completely blocking all lanes of traffic. Thank goodness no one hit us from the side, or that may have been it!!! As were standing in the middle of the freeway after, I asked Colin, if he got the accident on film! Sure enough! He did! Turns out a tow truck dropped his load!!! The driver did not properly secure the car to the truck! You can see the video on YouTube if you like! Colin dropped the camera right before we hit. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VBdGNFlC2MA&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DVBdGNFlC2MA

Julianna, perhaps you should share the fascinating tale of your Westy's condition and how it got that way....Also, was your Moab temp sensor challenge, your last mechanical issue? Miguel
