Hi all, I'm just curious and probably asking the obvious. The CH camper I am parting out has the late model Vanagon AC ductwork cut and plugged at the opening of the poptop. But the front piece with the sunvisors is there too. Is it just left on for cosmetic reasons? Or is this thing supposed to have some other function. IIRC, the fans are only in the evaporator to the rear of the van. Short of yanking this piece off, does anyone know if CH might have installed some thing like an auxiliary fan inside that panel? Seems like a total waste, if it was only left for the look.
