We stayed the night at Walmart last night ourselves down outside San Diego. We often do, although, in LA, there was a security guard that asked us to leave. Thankfully he was nice, and told us we could stay at the Krispy Kreme down the street! He said there had been some incidents last year, and they don't allow campers there overnight anymore.
