Dave,

I've never owned a Westy - all of our camping has been in a tin top.

Other have mentioned dark tinting and they are dead on - but that doesn't work at night if you have a light on inside.

We have a set of custom made curtains that snap into place. We love them and they work great. There are a few different methods for the front windows.

1. We have an inexpensive "bamboo" mat that we bought. It is large enough that the ties can be tied around the mirrors and we place it across the windshield (hold it down with the wipers). Works great (but front door side winows are still exposed

2. We have a curtain that we stretch across the inside just behind the front seats - we use 2 bungie cords attached to the coat hanger knobs. This works great too and prevents view from any of the front windows

3. Check out some of the items that Jonce Fancher sells. They have some very cool Windows screens and such. http://fanchers.com/59/VW%20Related%20Items.htm

Thanks,
