I camp for extended stays in my tintop.   I bought a used Westie interior
and installed the stove/sink/fridge and the water system.   Usually I have
a sun block screen for the front windshield and I use curtains with magnets
for the windows in crowded areas....I have some screen for the front
windows, again with magnets to hold them.   I also have a secondary rear
hatch latch that allows the hatch to stay open a few inches for ventilation.

   I find the low roof and stealthy look handy.   I have tinted windows for
daylight, but as mentioned, you can see inside with any interior lights
on...I think the low roof helps with driveability, too...I have also the
curtain on bungees that goes across the backs of the front seats....Helps
with heat when I am camping in the winter in high areas...
