I've done a 1.9 one and a 2.1 one.

for one thing ..take the dist out of the engine ! It's one screw to loosen, and it can't go back in incorrectly if you half pay attention. Note the rotational position so the timing is close to where it was.

the main important difference between the two types is the plug on the side . They are slightly different.

what I remember is .. for a 2.1 the whole thing needs to come apart ...the whole shaftn' everything. on a 1.9 ..ithall sender canjust be removed and swapped from the top. Bentley tells about the 2.1 if I remember correctly.
