Subject: main seal or oil pump 1.9 auto
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hey all. On my 85 auto I've got oil leaking in the area around the oil pump housing but can't determine if it's the oil pump gasket or the front engine oil seal. Can someone give me some tips on what or where to look at to figure what's leaking. It's not tranny fluid or gear oil. If it's either of these things it looks like the tranny and engine need to be separated to get at them- right? Thanks for any help. Spencer 85 Westy auto
