In my opinion, definitely not.
CV joint screws are one thing youdon't want ever loosening up .
I put 'something' on most threaded fasteners that I install into
something ..an engine , a flange etc.
CV joint screws I put in dry.
if I was going to put something on the threads it would be a productthat
does two very good things at once...
it prevents corrosion of the threads, making them easy to remove years
later ( like waterpump screws ) ...
and it has a 'sticks 'em in there' affect- good ole red permatex high
tack gasket sealer.
If I was limited to only Two products working on cars or vanagons
...High Tack would be one of them. Been using it about 35 yrs or so.
