I actually wouldn't be terribly concerned about a Short period of 3K NoLoad RPM even on

NewRings as long as everything was getting WellOiled & ProperlyCooled ~ Just how much 3K

time are we talking about?

I recently encountered an H2OBoxr that did not want to IdleDown ~ don't remember how

high the Revs were ~ not as high as 3K ~ maybe closer to 2K ~ & the culprit turned out to be

the IdleStabilizerControlModule/Relay ( in front of the Pass'Side tail light )
